The NDA Exam in India is an entrance test designed to select candidates for the National Defence Academy, which is located in Pune, Maharashtra. The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) is a standardised test conducted annually by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment of officer cadets in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA). This examination evaluates candidates on various subjects, including English, General Knowledge, and Mathematics, and those who pass will subsequently undergo a Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. The CDS Exam is generally conducted in two phases, CDS (I) and CDS (II). Usually, the results are declared within one month of the conclusion of the exam.
